Background and purpose: Heart failure is a common and life-threatening situation. These patients have poor sleep quality. One of the possible ways of improving sleep qualityis based on self-care education in the nursing model, thus this study was aimed at assessing the effects of the partnership care model on sleep quality among patients with heart failure.
Materials and Methods: An experimental study (randomized controlled trials) was performed on 102 patients with chronic stable heart failure among whom reffered to Vasei hospital of Sabzevar in 2014. Patients were randomly assigned into two groups. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Scale was used as a criterion.Interventionand implementation of the partnership care model in one of the test groups were kept running for three months. Obtained data were analyzied based on descriptive and inferential statistical methods (chi-square, Mann-Whitney U, analysis of covariance & Multilevel Logistic Regression) with SPSS (Version 11.5) & SAS (Version 9.1) Softwares with 95% of confidence (95% CI).
Results: The results showed that there wasn't any statistical significant difference in the mean score of sleep quality between the two groups before the intervention. But after the intervention the values of mean and standard deviation of sleep quality were obtained 9.02±4.03 & 4.43±2.89, respectively. There was a significant difference between the two groups in sleep scores obtained by statistical test of Mann-Whitney U (p=0.001).
Conclusion: Implementation of the partnership care model is effective in increasing the quality of sleep among patients with heart failure. Therefor the implementation of the partnership care model among patients with choronic disease is suggested.

Background: although, Self-esteem can improve mental health, studies indicated that nursing students'Self-esteem level, especially in female is not desirable. Exercise may be influenced on enhancing self-esteem. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of Pilates exercises on self-esteem of female nursing students.
Method: This randomized control trial(single blinded) study was performed on 62 female nursing students at medical sciences university of sabzevar 2014. After selecting participants via convenience method, they were divided randomly into an experimental (n= 32) and a control(n = 30) group. The experimental group did the Pilates exercise twice a week for 2 months while, the control group continued their daily activities. Then, self-esteem level assessed and abtained data was analyzed by means of SPSS software (version 18) using descriptive statistics, paired t-test and covariance test.
Result: before intervention, the average score of self-esteem in experimental group was 90/09± (8/20) and in control group was 92/80±)9/22),whereas at the end of intervention these scores for experimental and control groups was observed as observed as 100/34± (7/72) and 94/10±)9/22), respectively which this difference was significant statistically (p=0/002).
Conclusions: in the present study, performance of pilates exercise was effective to improve female nursing students' self-esteem, therefore, there is suggested to use this as an attractive and harmless method for enhancing the students’ self-esteem level.

Background & Objectives: Nursing education and attention to the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the promotion is of particular importance. Many factors are involved in the education process that each alone can have an effect on learning the most important is learning environment prevailing and space. The aim of this study was to investigate relationship between clinical environment and clinical self-efficacy from viewpoint of the nursing students.
Materials & Methods: This analytical - correlation was performed on all103 nursing student of third and fourth years at the Sabzevar university. Sampling method was census and three questionnaires: personal information, Dundee ready educational environment measure (DREEM ) and clinical self-efficacy were used. The data were analyzed with SPSS version 18 and descriptive statistic, Pearson correlation and independent T test by 0.05 in significant area.
Results: Mean score of self-efficacy was 50.42±16.19, the most score was for patient assessment subscale (53.59 ± 16.97) and the lowest score was for patient care planning subscale (46.05 ± 20.90). There was not significant relationship between self-efficacy and educational domains. However, there was significant and positive relationship between educational subscales (p< 0.0001).
Conclusion: Although there was no significant relationship between self-efficacy and educational environment, but learning environment plays an important role in the self-motivation of students. Theredore, the authorities in the areas of nursing education, research and nursing management should pay attention to the quality of educational environment and its impact on nursing motivation.

Background and purpose: Diabetes is a common disease in Iran and around the world which is associated with veriety of costly complications Depression is one of the most important problems diabetics deals with. Nurses can have a significant role in stress management training in order to improve the life quality of these patients. This study was aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of training patients with Type II diabetes in stress management, on depression.
Materials and Methods: In this Clinical trial research 96 patients with type II diabetes were selected from patients who had refered to the Diabetes Center of Kerman in 2013, and were asked to complete the DASS21 questionnaires, considering common consent. Patients, who had depression, were randomly divided into two groups: experimental and control groups and stress management training was done. Data were collected using questionnaires (Beck = DASS), respectively. Test data covariance, repeated measures ANOVA and SPSS software version 18 were used for analysis at Significant level of p< 0.05.
Results: Mean and standard deviation of depression before intervention in control group and test group, were respectively33.37± ( 13.94) and 32.77± (13.58), and after the intervention, obtained magnitudes for mentioned parameters were respectively 31.34± (13.91) and 20.77± (10.42). Comparing to pre-intervention period, standard deviation of depression has decreased and 51.2% of the experimental group's patients were found less depressed after being trained with the stress management tour. significant different between severity of depression before and after implementation of stress management training were resulted.(p-value= 0/0001).
Conclusions: Stress management training has played an effective role in reducing depression.

Abstract
Background: because of long communication between nurses and patients, nurses have the great opportunity to decrease anxiety level in patients and educate them. The purpose of this study was to evaluate performance of patient’s education in nurses and patients’ view.
Methods and Materials: This descriptive study was conducted on 110 nurses and 110 hospitalized patients who were being discharged in the summer of 2013 in the three educational hospitals in Sabzevar. Data were collected through a questionnaire for nurses and patients and analyzed using spss software, version of 15, and descriptive tests.
Results: Nurses' performance results showed that patients illustrated the highest level of training in time of admission was the way of using needed equipment (15%), during the hospitalization was time of drug usage (41%) and in discharge time was follow-up and the next visit the doctor. (30%).Also, Nurses mentioned the further level of education in admission, during hospitalization and discharge time were how to use of the equipment (38%), different methods of pain relief (66%), subsequent follow-up and going to the doctor (41%).
Conclusion: This study indicated that level of patients education has not been efficient in all of three times in nurses and patients ‘point of view. Therefore, health care managers should take some measure to enhance nurses’ awareness about the importance of patient education.
